News that HP have slashed the prices of their ‘to be discontinued’ HP Touchpad have lit up sales across the USA and Canada as ‘Best Buy’ has a fire sale. Prices drop from $499 to only $99 for the 16 Gb model, and from $599 to only $149 for the 32Gb version. Needless to say, they sold out rather quickly as word got round! Just this morning I received an alert from Google to confirm that ‘Harvey Norman’ the sole distributor in Australia has started their fire sale at price points similar to the USA. I can’t wait for this to start in the UK, currently website retailers are still advertising the Touchpad for ‘pre-sale’ prices at the likes of Amazon, Tesco, PC World and Curry’s. Think I may just pop down to PC World this morning, just in case…

A quick note about the reviews I do on this site. The product vendors may give me access to their products for free in order for me to do my review, alternatively, I may have bought the product myself. However I make no promises to vendors regarding what I write in my review. Should you click a link that takes you to a sales page for a paid product for sale this link will be an affiliate link and I will be paid a percentage of the sales price should you decide to invest in it.
